No BS About HS: Patient Stories for Humira

Created for the HS BS campaign, this series highlights the painful and often misunderstood condition Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS). Told in their own voices, Tara, Sterling, and Kerry share powerful, unflinching testimony about the emotional and physical toll of living with HS. Each story cuts through stigma with honesty and clarity. To bring the message into the real world, the “HS BS” logo was 3D-printed as a physical object—something to hold, confront, or toss—turning frustration into a bold, tangible act.

ALS Heros

This ongoing series, created with BBDO NY for ALS United, shares powerful, first-person stories of people living with ALS. These aren’t films exclusively made for the internet—they’re made to be felt. When shown to live audiences, the response is immediate: tears, standing ovations, the room on its feet. That kind of connection drives action. The series has helped raise millions, shift perception, and build momentum toward a cure—all by honoring the individuals and families who face this disease together.
ALS doesn’t discriminate—by age, race, gender, power, or wealth. It can affect anyone. Like so many diseases, it reminds us that we’re all human, connected by shared vulnerability and strength. These stories are told not just by those diagnosed, but by the people who stand with them every step of the way.
Through close creative collaboration — we shape each piece to reflect the individual: their personality, their passions, and what keeps them going. Over the years, the sense of responsibility behind this work has only grown deeper. It’s become both a commitment and a mission: to tell these stories in ways that challenge audiences emotionally and leave a lasting impression through tears, truth, and moments of hope.

I make films and videos for healthcare and Pharma brands—ads, stories, campaigns. Call it what you want, but it’s always about people. If the work feels honest, it’s because it’s earned.
There are a few awards on the shelf, and I’ve worked with some familiar names along the way—J&J, Pfizer, BBDO, FCB, Publicis.... But what really sticks is the moment someone trusts you with their story. That’s the job. That’s the work.
How and where we watch these films may evolve. Styles shift. Tools change. But the core approach stays the same: I show up, ask the questions, and listen.
I’m currently freelance, but I’m looking to join the staff at an agency, production company, or organization where I can help bring great work to life.
